HTML templates are a collection
of predesigned web pages which contain specific page formatting such
as tables, colors, fonts, and more. Some of these templates also
contain an external cascading style sheet to further help define how
your page will be displayed. HTML templates are designed to be used
in favorite HTML editor (Dreamweaver, FrontPage, etc. or a plain text
editor such as Notepad). Each template package contains all of the
elements you see on the preview pages. |
 |
|
 |
Our template packages may be
used for both commercial and personal use. Because we provide
products from many different designers, licensing agreements may
vary. Some designers may allow you to use the template for more than
one site, while others require you to purchase a new license for
additional sites. Please see the product's license agreement for
specific details and restrictions and contact the original designer
for more information. |

A FrontPage template is designed
to only be used in the Microsoft FrontPage program. HTML web
templates, however, can be used in any HTML
editing program (even FrontPage) or can be edited in a plain text
editor such as Notepad. |

A major advantage to purchasing
a web template is price. For a small cost of $20-$50 you will get a
high quality, multi-paged design without the high fees associated
with hiring a graphic web designer. The second advantage is time.
Once you have downloaded your template, you delete the sample text
and replace it with your own and then add your product images or
photos. Your new web site is ready to be uploaded to its new home on
the web. Very fast and very easy. |

Yes. Most of the designers
actually use FrontPage to design and develop their HTML templates.
However, the templates can be used in any HTML editing program. The
first time you open your template using FrontPage, you will be
prompted that the FrontPage programs needs to add specific files and
folders to your template. Just select OK, and you can then use your
new template easily within FrontPage. |

Each designer has specific
restrictions regarding the copyright issues of their templates and
graphics. Please contact the individual designer in order to gain
their permission before posting thumbnail images of template packages
on your site. |

customers are web developers who have already learned how quick and
easy our templates are to use. |

Templates are delivered in .ZIP
format for fast downloading. You will need an unzipping tool to open
these types of files. Inside of the zipped file, you will see an
assortment of HTML pages and (in most cases) a folder titled
"Images". Often you will also find a page with a CSS extension which
contains the cascading style sheet. Most designers will also include
some type of a "Read Me" file in a plain text format and a copy of
the License Agreement. |
 |
|
 |
Once you have unzipped the file,
extract the contents into a new empty folder. Next, open your
favourite Editor and open the html/htm page.
If you are using FrontPage, FrontPage will automatically apply the
necessary files to allow using all the goodies available in the
program. |

Each template is designed with a specific color
scheme that best coordinates with the included graphics. The colors of
template elements such as the navigation buttons, background, and
other graphic elements are typically not easily modified by the
customer. If you need a different color scheme, we recommend
contacting the designer of that template package to discuss their
availability in making the changes that you need. Please note that
most of the designers will change an additional fee to make template
modifications. |

No. You are actually purchasing a Users License which gives you
permission to use the page layouts and images for developing a web
site. The template remains in our catalog and may be sold multiple
times before it is removed. |

 |
The initial design copyright remains with the original template
designer. If royalty-free images are used within the template, the
copyright for those images remains with the original photographer or
illustrator. Any text and original images which you include on your
pages belong exclusively to you and you hold the copyright on those
items. |
