Dynamic Web Templates for FP 2003

October 2003 brought the release of FrontPage 2003 from Microsoft and with it the introduction of Dynamic Web Templates (DWT) for FrontPage.

These templates work a little differently than what FrontPage veterans may be used too. Once you have created your web with a DWT (or attached a DWT to your existing web) you can change the look of your whole site by attaching a new Dynamic Web Template. Now updating your site can be as easy as a few clicks!

What is an Dynamic Web Template?

The DWT technology eliminates the need for pre-made HTML pages, as the Dynamic Web Templates simply "attach" to your own HTML pages, giving them all the design attributes. For this reason, it is unnecessary for us to bog you down with countless content pages you have to rewrite or delete, so we are skipping that step!

The DWT package contains:

a DWT for each design layout provided (see "Features" of each design),
all graphical files needed to use the design,
all flash files (if any) needed for the design,
a thorough ReadMe file with complete instructions.
